Quincy turns 8!

Quincy blowing out his candles.
Quincy was in a lot of trouble right before his birthday. He was told that he had to give up the cool cake or his birthday gift. He, of course, chose to get his gift so his cake was undecorated. It was hard to do to him but hopefully he learned a lesson!

Field Trips

Alligator at the Zoo - the favorite of the group of boys I was with.

Nate with the Rhinos.
Win and Nate with the Giraffe. I was able to go to the Zoo with Win's Kindergarten class and the Museum with Quincy's 2nd grade class. Nate was a tag-a-long on both.

Easter

Lexi was here on Easter and colored eggs with the boys.

Win's coach called him "Little Beckham." He can be pretty competitive when he plays.

Win is SIX!

Blowing out the candles.

Win did not open presents when he ate cake at Grandma's. Because he wanted to do the cake at Grandma's he had to wait a few weeks after his birthday. We gave him his gift from us at home on his birthday and he got a card with money from Grandma and PopPop Nors and from Grandma and Grandpa Foshee.

You have to love Win. He made the cake job really easy on me this year. I used a coloring sheet to trace the picture before piping it.

At the Fire Station

Nate and I joined a Mommy and Me group at a tour at the fire station. He was very excited to see the firetruck up close and get to sit inside. He was disappointed that he did not get a ride.
Checking out the driver seat.

Nate and his buddy, Rayden (our next door neighbor.)

Nate is Three!!

He was very excited to get a drum and a skill saw (just like Mom's.) He again got frustrated when it did not actually cut wood.
Blowing out the candles.

Nate was very specific about his cake. He wanted a green race car with eyes and a mouth like Lightning McQueen.

Basketball

Win decided not to play basketball this year. He said that he wanted to stick with soccer. Quincy decided that he would rather play basketball than soccer. He enjoyed the season.
Quincy tries for the rebound.
About to catch a pass.

Dribbling down the court.

My Big Boy

Nate is getting big so fast. He can already put on his own underwear. He was dancing for me in this picture.
He was so excited to use his new chainsaw to help me outside with tree pruning. He got very upset quickly when he realized that it would not actually cut.

My Big Helper

Nate was very excited to get a tool belt of his own from Santa complete with work gloves, safety goggles and real tools. He told Pop-Pop all day that he was going to build him a tree house.
