Welcome to our family website. Because we are in the military we want to use this as a way to keep friends and family updated on what we are up to. We hope you enjoy seeing our adventures!!
We spent a week of vacation on Galveston Island in Texas. We had a great time! - Just check out the following posts. First day on the beach the boys quickly build a sand castle. Dad takes the boys for a dip in the ocean. Quincy loved jumping the waves. Win would not go too deep. Nate showed no fear.
Our second day at the beach brought more fun in the sand. As you can see here, Nate loved playing in the sand. I had to post this pic. It is my favorite! Quincy and Win still love playing with sticks!!! More digging.
The boys loved the Lego Astronaut. Quincy was chosen to demonstrate life in space. Here he is showing us how an astronaut must sleep. In front of an Apollo that was never sent up. Behind us are the bottom rocket boosters that would have been the first to fall off. In front of the training center where the astronauts practice before going up.
The boys take aim on board the USS Stewart. In front of the USS Stewart Destroyer Escort 238. Nate takes charge in the Submarine. In front of the USS Cavalla Sub.
Quincy poses at the aquarium while the shark checks him out. The boys pose in front of the parrots at the rainforest pyramid. Another shot in the rainforest pyramid.
The boys found this Texas Spiny Lizard on our back porch. He was a pretty good size - about nine inches from nose to tip of tail. We were able to catch it and watch it for the day. We let him go after supper.
Quincy wanted a Hogwarts Castle birthday cake. I mixed the fondant for the turrets the night before and when I woke up my grey icing had turned purple!! Blowing out all six candles. I think Pop-Pop was more excited! Quincy loved his new Bionicle.
The boys with Quincy's classmates, Wyatt, Jacob and Jillian. How many kids can you fit in one tree? The boys are really going to miss this tree. They were in it ALL the time. The boys with neighbors Tyler and Mason. With neighbors Patrick, Ashley and Caroline. Nate with our neighbor Aiden.
